Michelle is a third-year doctoral student in the iSchool from San Diego, California. She is an American born Vietnamese. In her free time, she loves working with kids and telling jokes and stories that her inner Viet kid tells her to.

Alena Lu
Arts Operations Intern
Alena is a freshman majoring in Business from Morton, Illinois. She is a second-generation Chinese American. As well as an AACC intern, she is involved with Ascend and the Asian American Association. In her free time, she enjoys reading, scrapbooking, and baking.
Bella Badral
Intern
Bella is a junior majoring in Global Studies from Glenview, Illinois. She is a first-generation Mongolian. She is interested in pursuing international or immigration law. As well as an AACC intern, she is involved with Mongolian Cultural Organization and Pre-Law Honor Society. In her free time, she enjoys learning new skills and languages, being terrible at tennis and baking.
Sophie Bush
Paul & Anne Poy Health & Wellness Intern
Sophie is a junior studying Psychology and Social Work from Houston, Texas. She is both a Chinese adoptee and a 3rd-generation Taiwanese granddaughter. She is interested in pursuing a career in counseling/therapy. As well as an AACC intern, Sophie is involved with In Between as the Membership Director, Undergraduate Psychology Association on the Volunteer Committee and Illini Boxing Club as the Social Media Chair. In her free time, she enjoys getting food with her friends, traveling with her family and listening to music while water coloring.
Carl Lorejo
Intern
Carl is a junior majoring in Specialized Chemistry from Chicago, Illinois. They are a second-generation Filipinx student. As well as an AACC intern, they are involved in IBI, AXS Professional Chemistry Fraternity, and as a Hospitality Chair for FACT with PSA. In his free time, he enjoys baking, cooking, watching TV, reading books, and listening to music.
Emily Luu

Emily Luu is a junior majoring in History with Secondary Ed & Psychology from Melrose Park, Illinois. She is a first-gen Vietnamese. She is interested in pursuing a teaching degree to become a high school social studies and psychology teacher. As well as an AACC intern, she is Vice President External of Vietnamese Student Association, Council Representative of Sigma Psi Zeta Sorority, Inc., and Golden Apple Scholars. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, cooking, and spending time with her friends and family.
Milan Monroe
Intern
Milan is a senior majoring in Neuroscience from Round Lake, Illinois. He is a first-generation Japanese European. As well as an AACC intern, he is involved with In Between at UofI as President. In his free time, he enjoys trying new recipes, playing computer games and going to live music events.
Isa Sargan
Asian Pacific American Alumni Leadership Intern
Isa is a senior majoring in Asian American Studies from Chicago, Illinois. She is Filipino American and is passionate about working with the community. As well as an AACC intern, she serves as the President of the Philippine Student Association at the UofI. In her free time, she enjoys performing cultural dances, playing horror video games, and going on adventures.

Daniel is a sophomore majoring in Information Science + Data Science from Naperville, Illinois. He is a second generation Chinese American. As well as an AACC intern, he is involved with the Asian American Association. In his free time, he likes hanging out with friends, swimming, and listening to music.
